If you’re looking for the perfect course to include in your fall golf trip then look no further than River’s Edge Golf Club in Shallotte, North Carolina. Just Minutes over the border, River’s Edge offers a stunning and serene experience you can’t find anywhere else.

River’s Edge Golf Club makes the perfect course to include on a fall golf trip for multiple reasons, including its ability to fill an entire day with fun, excitement, and life-lasting memories.

Here is an example of a fall golf day at River’s Edge Golf Club:

7:30 am — Arrive at River’s Edge Golf Club

From the minute you first arrive at River’s Edge Golf Club you will be treated with excellent customer service. As you pull around to the bag drop, just pop your trunk and our caring staff will take care of all your groups bags and ensure the carts are perfectly set up to your preference. Following, you will be immediately greeted by a guest service staff member that will walk you through the clubhouse layout, course conditions, and any other special events going on that day.

7:40 am — Enjoy complimentary juice and/or coffee with the most breathtaking view.

After you enter the clubhouse enjoy a free cup of coffee and/or juice as you catch the early morning sunrise over breathtaking holes #9 and #18 off of our wrap around porch. This is the perfect spot to chat with your buddies about how you’re going to take on #9 — Arnie’s Revenge.

7:50am — Order the most delicious breakfast sandwich.

Nothing starts a day of 18 holes off better than a delicious breakfast sandwich and bloody mary— if you like a morning swing juice. The Double Eagle Grille at River’s Edge Golf Club offers a delicious breakfast menu that has quick ready to go options for golfer’s in a rush and larger breakfast plates for a sit down meal.

8:15 am — Range and putting practice.

If you’re a golfer that prefers to warm up before teeing off, head over to the range before your tee time. A small bucket of balls is the perfect amount to get your swing warmed up before 18 and our large putting green has a variety of slopes for you to test out before your round.

9:00 am — Tee Time

A starter will greet you on the starting hole to go through pin placements and course conditions before sending you off on the most stunning round. River’s Edge Golf Club is known for its breathtaking views and location. Nestled along the Shallotte River it is guaranteed you will see plenty of wildlife and nature. Each hole offers its own challenge. There’s no doubt you and your buddies will be talking through each hole hours after your round.

At the turn, make sure you stop in for a cold drink and snack. Our go-to is an Arnold Palmer or Arnold Palmer spiked and cold candy bar— Arnold Palmer wouldn’t have it any other way.

1:30 pm — Lunch after your round.

If you couldn’t already tell, the Double Eagle Grille at River’s Edge Golf Club is the best place to eat in Shallotte, North Carolina. With a large selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, burgers, flatbreads, paninis, and more, it has something for everyone to love. The best spot to eat is a seat on the back deck overlooking the river and course.
