During the COVID-19 pandemic the normal way of enjoying our activities has been altered. Here at Rivers Edge Golf Club and at many other golf courses in the area the use of golf carts has been limited to one person per cart for several weeks. In an effort extend alternate ways to enhance customers safety we have temporarily permitted the usage of private golf cars to Rivers Edge residents and walking.
One member took on the challenge and has yet to look back! He has been walking the hilly and long course since COVID-19 restrictions were put in place on March 25, 2020. Larry plays on average three to four rounds per week, compiling eight to ten miles per round depending on how well or poorly he was playing.
For his dedication we wanted to recognize this very special person with the Rivers Edge Golf Club IRONMAN Award.
