As 2024 comes to a close, it’s a great time to reflect on the incredible year we’ve had here at Rivers Edge Golf Club. This year marked our first full year under the new ownership of Sandesh Sharda, and we’re thrilled with the progress we’ve made and the positive feedback from our members and guests. After being recognized as 2023 Golf Course of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owner’s Association, we worked hard to continuously provide an unparalleled golfing experience in the Myrtle Beach market.

We kicked off the year with a variety of improvements aimed at enhancing the overall experience for everyone who steps on our property. At the end of 2023, we introduced our brand new fleet of Club Car golf carts that were continuously upgraded with new technology and enhanced features throughout the year. Paired with newly renovated cart paths, your visit to Rivers Edge Golf Club will now include a more comfortable and smoother ride. Another improvement was the full renovation of the clubhouse, including a new modern exterior and refreshed interior. The renovation included remodeling the Double Eagle Grille to provide guests with an elevated dining space and a new menu.

In addition to these aesthetic updates, we focused on adding more value to the golf experience itself. Our renovated practice facility now includes a number of new services designed to enhance your visit to Rivers Edge, such as range balls and practice facility access with every tee time, complimentary juice and coffee, and even complimentary valet service to make your visit as seamless as possible.

On the course, we’ve been hard at work making improvements that enhance playability and overall course conditions. We’ve completed bunker renovations and replaced flagsticks and tee signs. We’ve also added in-ground trash cans, ensuring the course is as clean and enjoyable as possible for every round. One of the major ongoing projects this year is the bulkhead restoration project to its original iconic Arnold Palmer design of 1999. We are currently wrapping up work on One of the major ongoing projects this year is the bulkhead restoration project, which will further elevate the beauty and integrity of the course. Additionally, we’re in the process of restoring Hole #15, removing artificial turf and replacing it with natural grass to ensure a more authentic playing experience.

In our commitment to providing optimal playing conditions year-round, we completed a full fall overseed of the course. By overseeding wall to wall, we’re ensuring lush, healthy turf that will maintain the excellent playing conditions you’ve come to expect—now and for the seasons to come. This important step will help guarantee the course remains in top shape for 2025 and beyond, delivering the best possible experience for our members and guests.

Our team has worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment, and we’re proud to say that our efforts have not gone unnoticed. We were honored to be voted #1 in customer service and course conditions during the Myrtle Beach World Am Tournament, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support from our members and guests. We’re deeply grateful for your continued patronage and feedback, which allows us to continue making Rivers Edge Golf Club a premier destination for golfers. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to build on the progress we’ve made. We’ll continue to focus on customer service, course improvements, and creating a memorable experience for everyone who visits. Here’s to another amazing year ahead, and we can’t wait to welcome you back in the new year!

Cheers to 2024 and beyond!
