RIvers Edge is a proud host of the World Am. Golf course will reopen for public play immediately after the completion of tournament rounds, we anticipate the tee box opening at 2:00pm daily.

The World Am is truly an experience you cannot get anywhere else. With over 3,000 players competing each year, there is a different feeling when standing on the first tee than you get when playing in your weekly league or local Am Tour event. The main advantage of having so many players is that the handicap ranges within the flights are very small. We have one of the largest Women’s golf tournaments in the world, with nearly 300 ladies competing each year. And for the Men, we break it down by age with divisions for: 49 & Under, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+. In addition to the handicap flights, we offer gross divisions for men and senior men for those that prefer medal play.

If you don’t want to play competitively, you can still play in the World Am. The Just for Fun flight is just for you! Play without the restrictions of USGA rules and don’t worry about handicaps or your score. You can still play four great Myrtle Beach courses, enjoy the 19th Hole, get the awesome gift bag and win daily contest and random drawing prizes. We even give the flight prizes away randomly.
